Abstract

A photoluminescent coating has ability to emit visible light during a certain time, in absence of any stimulus light, after being excited by ultraviolet and visible radiation for a period of time previously established. Mainly, two parameters determine the validity to use of these coatings in emergency signals: decay time and color. Due to these parameters will be conditioned by type and concentration photoluminescent pigment, the aim of our work has been to establish the relationship between the color and decay time, in function of the pigment concentration.
