Abstract
The aim of this work is the comparison between the results of CIELab* coordinates obtain by two types of visible spectrophotometer: bidirectional spectrophotometer with geometry measurement of 0/45º and multiangle spectrophotometer for the same geometry measurement. The colour was measured on five glossy homogeneous ceramic tiles with different hue: grey, cyan, green, yellow and red. The analysis of the CIELab* coordinates shows that the difference between both spectrophotometers is not significant. At every one of the cases, the difference is below the usual uncertainty associate with the results in these instruments.
