Zusammenfassung
The objective of this work is the establishment of a mathematical model to determine, for a specific coating, the relation between its hiding power and its colour after being applied over a specific support. The colour was measured in several samples coated by three different solutions of a commercial red dye. Different supports and thickness were evaluated. The results show the dependency between the hiding power and the colour variation, considered as a function of the dilution factor and the deposit layer.
