Resumen

Early childhood education in Latin America is the educational level par excellence that promotes the development of comprehensive learning, knowledge and skills as a means of contributing to the social and integral well-being of children at this educational level, so ensuring the fulfilment of the right to quality education intimes of risk is of vital importance. Fromthis context, this article aims to explorethe perceptions of the educational work of a group of early childhood educationteachers fromChile, Colombia andEcuador intimes of pandemic, as it hasbecome a topic of interest due to the value of both the resources they use andtheir participation and interaction in their newteaching space: the virtual one. Inresponsetothis objective, adescriptive-interpretativequalitativeresearchwascarried out based on the focus group technique with the participation of seventeachers who work at the infant level, which highlighted the distance that existsbetween the educational ideals set out by international and governmental bodiesregarding the role of the infant teacher and the results that are obtained whenthere is a latent lack of physical and virtual resources on the part of families andteachers in times of pandemic. Based on this reality, it is possible to visualise thediversity of consequences caused by the emerging digital divide in both teachingand learning at the early childhood level.
